4th Annual Food Truck Face Off

We're pleased to announce Food Truck Face Off 2018! More than 20 local food trucks and carts will converge at Liberty Park in Salt Lake City, on June 30th, from 4 pm to 10 pm.

The public is invited to enjoy delicious food and at the same time support local nonprofits that work to end homelessness, poverty and adversity in Utah: Fourth Street Clinic, Utah Community Action, Volunteers of America-Utah and YWCA Utah.

The largest food truck event in the state will be a night of family fun featuring unique food trucks, a beer garden, live music, children's activities, a movie in the park, and more!

Mark your calendars and stay tuned as we unveil additional details in the coming months. Thank you!
Volunteer with Utah Community Action

Volunteers play a critical role in providing services for all six of Utah Community Action programs. We place volunteers in our Head Start classrooms, Central Kitchen, Neighborhood Food Pantries & Resource Centers, Facility Maintenance, Event Staffing, and Summer Food Programs.

Volunteers help achieve our larger goals of empowering clients and giving them tools for self-sufficiency.

By volunteering with Utah Community Action, volunteers can not only give back to the community but also hone their skills in social work, human services, and food service handling.

Dollar Per Child Campaign

Millions of American children are in desperate need of the window of opportunity for success in life that Head Start provides.

Through Dollar Per Child, the National Head Start Association ensures that the voices of these at-risk children and their families are heard.

Our goal is to raise one dollar for each of the one million children in Head Start and Early Head Start programs across the nation. For just one dollar for every child in Head Start, we can ensure that the voices of Head Start children and their families are heard.

Get involved today! Be sure to list Dollar Per Child Campaign  with your online gift. Thank you!
