Can you answer one question?
As we move toward re-gathering this summer in phases, we are conducting an anonymous, blind survey of the St. John's community to gain perspective on how many are vaccinated or are planning to be vaccinated.
Therefore, we hope you will take a few seconds to take the 1-question survey by clicking the button below. None of your personal information will be stored or tracked with this survey.
Thank you for helping us as we regather in the coming weeks. If you have already answered the survey, thank you! Please only take it one time.

Worship on May 16, 2021: Eastertide
We continue worshipping together in this season of Eastertide this Sunday. The theme for this week is focused on investing in God's mission while living in a spectator-oriented world. The scripture passage is Romans 12:1-21. Dr. Foust will offer a message called, "Sanctified Shareholders."
The worship video will be available at 8am via our YouTube channel and at our website under the Worship tab for you to view. You can also link to worship from the Realm Connect App Events list.

Collection for Refugee Support Services on May 23
“Arrive, Survive, and Thrive” is the goal of Refugee Support Services as they extend a welcoming, supportive arm to newly arrived refugees who come to Charlotte from around the world, having left their homelands under very difficult circumstances. RSS provides an array of services to assist these new neighbors in their adjustment to a new culture. During the pandemic, RSS had to suspend many of their “in-person” services but quickly pivoted to address the financial hardships of the many people who suddenly found themselves among the unemployed. Throughout the pandemic, RSS has provided for these families each week over 100 boxes with basic foods and household necessities. Thank you to several St. John's servants who have participated regularly in this service!!
To give an opportunity for others to participate in this effort the Mission Resource Team has designated RSS as the recipient for a collection of items to bring for the next Sunday food truck event on May 23. You may bring whatever quantity you choose of bags of lentils or chickpeas or rolls of toilet paper. You do not have to attend the food truck event to contribute to this collection.
Our contributions will join with those of other individuals and groups in Charlotte to help fill out the boxes for the week of May 24. Meanwhile, don’t forget that you can sign up at https://www.refugeesupportservices.org/events/refugee-101/ or the button below to learn more about refugees in Charlotte and services for them.
