Crockpot Cowboy Soup

Ingredients 

  • 1 Pound lean ground beef browned and drained
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 large yellow onion diced
  • 1 green bell pepper diced
  • 15.25 oz can kidney beans drained
  • 15 oz can black beans drained
  • 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
  •  1 cup BBQ sauce
  •  1 Tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a crockpot and stir until well blended.
  2. Cover and cook for about 4 hours on high or 6 hours on low.
  3. Stir and taste. Adjust the seasonings to your liking.
  4. Serve as is or add your favorite toppings.
