Dear Friends,

As we close out another busy year serving our Loudoun neighbors, we’re grateful for everyone who has supported Loudoun Hunger Relief in so many ways—through volunteering, donating, spreading the word, and showing up for our community.

This month marks an exciting milestone: we completed our very first distribution at our new Sterling location on December 8! We’re thrilled to expand our reach and continue improving access to healthy food for families across the county.

As you plan for the holidays, we hope you’ll consider LHR in your year-end giving. A donation in honor of a friend or family member also makes a meaningful holiday gift...one that directly supports local families. Every contribution helps feed a neighbor in Loudoun County.

A quick reminder: LHR will be closed for Christmas and New Year, so please do not leave food donations at our building while we are closed. (Closed: December 24th-27th & December 31st-January 3rd)

Thank you for standing with us this holiday season and throughout the year. We couldn’t do this work without you.

The Team at LHR 🌟

A Gift That Keeps Giving!

This holiday season, you can honor someone special with a gift that truly makes a difference. When you make a donation in their name, you’re not just giving a thoughtful, heartfelt present, you’re helping feed a neighbor here in Loudoun.

Tribute gifts are a meaningful way to celebrate friends, family, coworkers, or anyone who inspires you. We’ll send a personalized acknowledgment so your honoree knows their kindness is creating real impact for local families. Share the spirit of the season with a gift that feeds, supports, and uplifts our community.

Successful First Day in Sterling!

Our first distribution at our Sterling Market happened on Monday, December 8th, we served 70 families, who were able to shop the new market for the very first time! Our Sterling mobile market, previously held at the Sterling Community Center, has now permanently moved to our new Sterling location. Follow along with us as we celebrate many more firsts in the new space!
