Food Pantry Reopens for In-person Food Shopping
After 2 years of following COVID safety protocols and providing a modified shopping experience for our clients, CRC’s FNC reopened on May 2 for program participants to shop for food and personal care items. We are excited to provide the dignity of choice and the community market feel again to our participants!

Thank you to the Encinitas Coastal Rotary for their support of Carol’s House, CRC’s domestic violence emergency shelter, with a gift in April of $4,555. The gift represents a third of the profits from their purse bingo fundraiser in January, with proceeds split amongst three nonprofits. USPS Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive
Stamping out hunger and feeding hope ... one can at a time!

Thank you to the Association of Letter Carriers’ Stamp Out Hunger food drive on Saturday, May 14. CRC was the recipient of food donated to mail routes from the Encinitas and the Solana Beach post offices.

Thank you to the many volunteers who sorted and moved food and the letter carriers who worked so hard to collect the bags and deliver them back to the post office parking lots.

We’ll be able to stock our shelves for the upcoming months and provide vital food to North County families. It takes a community and we appreciate all of you!
