Espresso Yourself Café Now Open!

Cappuccinos and Fresh Baked Croissants are Now on the Menu Every Day!

The Clubhouse now has a real, member-run cafe! The cafe is fully equipped to make any sort of drink you might expect. From fresh ground and brewed American coffee, to delicious Cafe con Leches and Lattes thanks to the equipment our donations allowed us to purchase for our members!

Currently, staff member Tatiana helps members run the Cafe, while simultaneously training any interested members in everything they need to know to work as an actual barista!

This sort of real world clerk and food-service training is something you will rarely find outside of a Clubhouse. Plus, our members get to take pride in the work they do and in the responsibility they hold managing a cafe.

Glades Clubhouse Tour

Recently, We were ecstatic to have members and staff of Glades Clubhouse come to our Clubhouse!
Our members guided them through a tour of our campus and our Work Ordered Day units. Members of both Clubhouses got to meet face to face to learn from one another, and everyone was able to enjoy a delicious meal for lunch, provided by the members of our Culinary Unit, in our still new Teaching Kitchen.

A special thank you to Tiffanie Benjamin, director of Glades Clubhouse who had this to say:
"[We would like] to express our heartfelt gratitude for the opportunity to tour your wonderful Clubhouse. The experience truly left a lasting impression on the Glades Clubhouse in so many positive ways.  From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and kindness. It was incredible to witness the vibrant atmosphere and the supportive community that you have fostered for members to grow and develop skills and also display their unique talents. The dedication and passion of your staff and members are truly remarkable and play a significant role in creating a welcoming environment.  We were all particularly inspired by the activities and programs available, which not only promote social interaction but also empower members to discover and pursue their individual talents and interests. Seeing the joy and engagement on everyone’s faces was a testament to the positive impact the Clubhouse has on their lives.
Thank you once again for the amazing opportunity. We left feeling inspired and we appreciated all of the hard work that goes into the Work Ordered Day making the Clubhouse a refuge and a hub of creativity. Members of the Glades Clubhouse decided to write their own letters of gratitude to express their appreciation for Footprints to Success Clubhouse"

Thank you for allowing me to come to Foot Print Clubhouse to see new things. The things that inspired me was the gym, and its different work out machines.

The kitchen was spotless and beautiful. I was so surprised about the gift. It was boom amazing! I love the soap that they made. Foot Print members were appreciated. Thank you kindly for the outstanding hospitality.

Hello my name is Techler. I would like to thnk you for inviting me to tour your Clubhouse. I like the Culinary Kitchen and weight room; also the baked chicken and rice!

In the gym I would like to use the weights and work out weightlifting so I can get stronger.

Foot Print Members and staff are very nice!

The Clubhouse Garden Takes Root!

Thanks to the help of the wonderful folks at the Urban Oasis Project, our vegetable garden is up and running!

Members have already planted a variety of vegetables, from herbs to lettuce and kale to peppers and even heirloom tomatoes! These vegetables will soon provide fresh ingredients for our Teaching Kitchen. Members in our Culinary Unit will eventually wash and cook with the vegetables.

The incredible team over at the Urban Oasis Project were so generous in helping us plant these vegetables. They took the necessary time to show and explain every aspect of what they were doing and the members learned a great deal as a result. Since then members have been watering the beds when needed, excitedly waiting for that first tomato!

Green Market Bank

Introducing a Bank Exclusively for our Clubhouse!

The Green Market Bank is the center of finances in the Clubhouse. For example, it takes payments for breakfast, lunch, and snacks. Furthermore, the members running Green Market Bank are responsible for reconciliation. We keep track of of all money given for everything related to food and beverages provided by the Clubhouse chef and kitchen crew. The Bank provides experience in the financial field such as accounting, retail work, banking, etc.

This program also helps us become more knowledgeable about budgets, billing, and other financial issues.

Giving Tuesday 2025

Thank You to Everyone Who Contributed to Our #GivingTuesday Campaign!

Giving Tuesday is a unique opportunity to promote awareness surrounding mental health and mental health resources by supporting mental healthcare organizations directly! It is a sort of decentralized fundraising campaign participated in by many mental health Clubhouses like ours, and it is a unique opportunity to support our members in their journey.

Taking a Trip to The Beach!

Recently members of our Drop-In Center took a day trip to the beach! They stopped by the pier at Pompano Beach to check out the shops and sights, including a close encounter with a pelican!

Later they walked down to the beach and enjoyed the sun and the sand, before heading back to the Clubhouse. If these photos are anything to go by, then they sure had a great time!
