Emmaus Road Partners exists to help Christian ministries thrive and your generosity is what makes it possible. This month we'd like to highlight how ERP made an impact through a variety of Summer ministry opportunities.
Earl Humes has served as the Area Director for Tri-County FCA (Bamberg, Calhoun, and Orangeburg Counties in SC) for nearly 20 years. Earl oversees the ministry taking place in 17 middle schools, 17 high schools, and 6 colleges. ERP made it possible for the entire Orangeburg-Wilkinson High School football team to attend the FCA Team Football Camp!
"O-W football returned to FCA’s Team Football Camp for the first time in five years, however, attending camp is only the first step in their rebuilding process both on and off the field! A team battling the stigma of gang violence and neighborhood shootings experienced the love of Christ! It’s always a pleasure to see what God will do when student-athletes get to camp... to see Him at work transforming lives is priceless! I thank God for the prayers and support of Emmaus Road Partners! There are many seeds of hope planted in the hearts of the O-W Bruins because of ERP!"
-- Earl Humes, Tri-County FCA Area Director
Kingsmen Baseball is a Christian baseball ministry headquartered in Rock Hill, SC that sponsors faith-based teams and takes coaches and players on mission trips. The Mission of Kingsmen Baseball is to use the great game of baseball to help young men...

  • ...grow in their personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
  • ...become the best baseball players they can be.
  • ...develop into men of character and integrity.
Emmaus Road Partners has been a faithful teammate of our ministry. They have partnered with us through financial support, and more importantly, through prayer support. Their prayer team has been so faithful in praying for our ministry needs. If we have any type of need, we know they will be there to help however they can."
-- Joe Hudak, Founder and Head Coach of Kingsmen Baseball
The Kingsmen spent 10 days this Summer in the Dominican Republic serving rural villages and using baseball as a platform for ministry.

"Every single person we met was happy and content with where they were. They made do with what they had and were still so grateful to God for everything. It really put things into perspective for me."
-- Dalton Reeves, Presbyterian College

"It is beautiful seeing how God brings them joy and how they are invested in the Lord! I am truly blessed to be on this trip! I can feel it helping me with my relationship with God!"
-- Cam McNearney, Birmingham Southern College

John "Bootsie" Griggs has served Pee Dee FCA (Chesterfield, Darlington, Florence, Marlboro, and Williamsburg Counties in SC) as the Area Director for nearly 6 years.

"Pee Dee FCA has been greatly blessed by the generosity of Emmaus Road Partners! Whether it was for the FCA Spring Retreat or an FCA Camp during the Summer, so many of our students have been afforded the opportunity to attend because of scholarships received through ERP's support."
Hundreds of students from across NC + SC gathered at Garden City Chapel during the first weekend in April for the FCA Spring Retreat. The event, which Bootsie Griggs helped direct, included both middle school and high school students.

FCA Leadership Camp was held in July at the YMCA Blue Ridge Assembly in Black Mountain, NC. Tyler, Kate, Aubrey, and Taylor from The Kings Academy in Florence, SC were able to attend thanks to the generosity of ERP donors like you.

Two sessions of FCA Team Football Camp were also held in July at Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC. Web, Junior, Hakeem, Sean, and Aiyon, of the Hartsville High School football team, surrendered their life (for the first time) to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
The blue box below isn't just a catchphrase... it's the truth... and your partnership really does help Christian ministries thrive... which also means your partnership makes an eternal difference in lives just like Aiyon, Aubrey, Hakeem, Junior, Kate, Sean, Taylor, Tyler, Web, and so many more!
Emmaus Road is now on Lady Street!
