SJSU has this excellent program that all students should consider. Have a look. You join a cohort and are able to meet and work with leaders in the field. They are inclusive, grassroots, and hand-on. https://www.sjsu.edu/honorsx/index.php

They want students from the area who want to succeed in new fields of study. It is a minor that you do in conjunction with your major. It is an incredible opportunity, especially if you want to stay local.
