AAPI HERITAGE MONTH EVENTS

"Paper Daughter" is a stop motion animated short film about a young Chinese woman who grapples with the guilt of using the identity of a deceased girl to immigrate to the United States via Angel Island in 1926
May 27th, 4:30-5:30, Dining Hall: End-of-Year Celebration honoring scholarship winners and celebrating student success.
Come join APAN (Asian Pacific American Network) as we celebrate our end of the year celebration and honor our APAN scholarship winners and transferring students. Food and refreshment will be provided. Friends and family welcome!

Preston Gannaway is a Pulitzer Prize-winning American documentary photographer and artist based in Northern California. Her work centers around intimate narratives about families and marginalized groups while examining the relationships between individual, community and landscape.

Safe Zone Training provides participants with foundational knowledge and practical tools to support LGBTQIA+ inclusion and belonging on campus. The training focuses on identity, allyship, inclusive language, and creating affirming environments where all students and employees can thrive authentically.
