Newsletter Winter 2016

I hope this newsletter finds you well and your business thriving!  This year was a lot of learning for me, first the RLD course in April and the subsequent case studies, then in October I was a student in the first Acupressure course that we are now offering.  That was a fascinating four days, learnt a lot and still learning even though the assignments are finished!  Both these modalities will be incorporated into my practice and I am enjoying practising them both.

Now its December and I am busy planning for 2017.  First of all, the 'Find a therapist' will be posted onto the website in January, let me know if your information has been transcribed correctly and what you think of the page, lets hope it helps everyone.  All the therapists on the page are certified and if you are not on the list and want to be, please send us the information.

Also exciting changes happening in Atlantic Canada - some of you are already aware that by April 2017 NSARP will be changing their name to ACART which stands for Atlantic Canada Association of Reflexology Therapists, sounds very grand and makes it much more inclusive. Watch this space for information on our very first chapter in Ontario.

The mom and baby reflexology workshops are still going well and in the fall I had 10 moms attend all four classes at Toronto Yoga Mamas which was such a lovely group of moms who were thirsting for knowledge.  Sandi also had a great group in Kippens in Newfoundland and will continue to offer more.  There will also be dates in the new year at Bloom Kids Space in Toronto which Kit will be running.  Please send anyone you know with a baby to the website,

Detailed below are all the upcoming courses including two more dates for the Acupressure course in 2017, Nutrition and Business start up.  Also an extra business course that is happening in February in Toronto, details below.

I hope you all have a lovely xmas and holiday time with your families, a time to re-group, re-charge and re-fresh your business.

Wishing you all peace and joy,

Sandi Abbott - Registered Reflexology Therapist, Kippens, NL

I would like to add this article about a student who recently embarked on her new career of holistic health and wellness.  She took the Diploma course in July 2015 and was actually certified by September of the same year, also in Indian Head Massage.  She attended the RLD course in April 2016 and then went on to teach Mom and Baby workshops in the fall of 2016, all of this while still in a full time job.
Please take a look and be truly inspired by Sandi who is so focussed and determined to be successful in a new career.  I congratulate you Sandi and may you be successful in everything you do in the future and be an inspiration to every student who reads this.
