BAND
We are the largest school organization at CRMS with almost 200 students!
What do we do?
We learn how to play cool instruments, travel, and have fun.
Do I need to know how to play an instrument or read music?
Nope, that’s what we learn in class.
What instruments can I play?
Flute, Oboe, Basson, Clarinet, Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Baritone, Tuba, Percussion (Drums and Mallets). Tons to choose from!
Can I be in band and…?
Yes! Our band students are in chorus, strings, honors classes, Spanish/French, art, PE, and on middle school, JV, and Varsity sports teams. Band students are involved in a lot!

Next Steps:
If you think you may be interested in joining, check out our band webpage where you can watch videos of the different instruments, play a short game to see what instrument you might be interested in, and where your parents can get in contact with me. And if you are planning to attend another middle school other than Camp Road and would like to participate in band, please have your parents email me and let me know what school you will be attending. I will then pass the information along to the band director at that school.
You are also invited to attend our spring concerts on June 8th and 9th. I will send more information home with your teachers when we get closer to that date.
