FOR ALL THE SAINTS
OCTOBER 7, 2021
JOIN US THIS SUNDAY WHEN WE RECOGNIZE THE ST. NICHOLAS CHORISTERS AT THE 10AM SERVICE!
Our St. Nicholas Choristers will be commissioned during our 10 am worship this Sunday. They follow the Royal School of Church Music curriculum and complete specific levels according to their age and skill. Choristers learn music theory, proper and healthy singing techniques, Christian Formation, self-expression through music, and lots more! We support each other as we learn and grow. This year's choristers are Claire Raymore (first-year, White Level); Gigi Beran & Jillian Turk (second-year, Light Blue Level); Isabelle Jackson (fourth-year, Red Level). Pictured in the photo is Alex Gravina, our assistant this year. Support our choristers by saying hello and wishing them well as they continue to make music this year!

You can also call or stop by the church office to drop off a donation and give Molly your names. If you make a donation with an envelope, please write the names for whom you are offering the flower donations LEGIBLY. Donations must be placed in the baskets, collection plates, or the church office by Sunday, October 31st.
A BIG "THANK YOU" FOR SUPPORTING THE YOUTH BARK SALE THIS PAST SUNDAY!
This year's Blessing of the Animals Drive-Thru Edition was a huge success! We had so many furry friends eager to be blessed by Father Donavan and Mother Sarah.

The Youth Bark Sale was the best yet! The youth were able to raise $383.43 by taking pictures of the animals and also by passing out homemade treats. The youth cannot wait to donate that money to one of the deserving housekeeping staff at Baptist Medical Center.

Thank you All Saints for being a part of a fun and furry afternoon!!
THE BIG FAT FALL FOOD DRIVE IS ALMOST HERE!
Grocery bags with a list of all the items needed at the UCOM Food Pantry will be available to pick up inside the church and in the Church Office beginning next Sunday, October 17th! Every family can pick up a bag (or two or three or four) to take home and fill up until the official "Collection Sunday" on Sunday, November 14th!

This continues to be one of the most important parts of our Fall Outreach program at All Saints, and it is especially important for those who are coming to UCOM for assistance. So let's fill up our bags and make this the BIGGEST, FATTEST Fall Food Drive EVER!

ALL SAINTS SUNDAY IS NOVEMBER 7TH! JOIN US FOR A SPECIAL JAZZ MASS AT THE 10AM FOLLOWED BY OUR LONG-AWAITED
FALL FESTIVAL!
OUR ALL SAINTS SUNDAY JAZZ MASS, FALL FESTIVAL, & CHICKEN BURN LUNCH IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER!

After having to cancel Rally Day this year due to COVID, All Saints made the decision to move all the fun and festivities from August to our church's patronal feast day instead, All Saints Sunday! That Sunday, November 7th, will include a special "Jazz Mass" during the 10am Holy Eucharist, followed by a New Orleans style Jazz lead March to the Columbarium for the reading of the names of those who have died over the past year. After that, we will shift to a special Fall Festival version of the All Saints "Chicken Burn" Parish Luncheon, with lots of fun things for the youth to do around the campus!

This is going to be a very special day at the church, and we are hoping everyone can be here and invite a few friends for our first ever ALL SAINTS SUNDAY JAZZ MASS & FALL FESTIVAL on Sunday, November 7th, starting at 10am! Right on!

Morning Prayer with Mtr. Sarah on Zoom!
Continuing THIS MONDAY at 8am!
In many times and places, daybreak has been a time of prayer. Jews prayed in their synagogues at sunrise as well as at other times each day. This Jewish pattern of prayer formed the basis of the Christian monastic Daily Office, with its prayers or “hours” at seven times in each day. Thomas Cranmer’s revision of the Daily Office for the first English Prayer Book (1549) reduced the number of services to two - one for morning (Matins) and one for evening (Evensong or vespers). In the Second English Prayer Book (1552), the morning service was given its present name, Morning Prayer.

Mother Sarah would love for you to join her on Monday mornings at 8 AM via Zoom to pray the service of Morning Prayer from the Daily Office. What better way to start your week than a sweet reminder that your days belong to God and that you are never alone? Just open up your computer or smart phone, and click HERE to join. The meeting ID is 861 8284 3074 and the passcode to enter the Zoom meeting is 034101 Or just email Mother Sarah HERE for the Zoom invitation.
Come and be nourished with the Word of God and prayer!
Coffee Hour in the Courtyard!
The Men's Breakfast Committee will be serving individually packaged donuts and fresh, hot coffee in the courtyard starting at 9am! It's not exactly the full breakfast buffet All Saints was known for prior to the pandemic, but it's our next step back in that direction! And following the 10am service, the coffee will be refreshed for a "Coffee Hour" for anyone who'd like to gather in the courtyard to catch up with friends at church!
So, start planning to arrive at church a little early again on Sunday mornings or stay a little late for "Donuts and Coffee in the Courtyard" at All Saints!
UCOM's FOOD PANTRY NEEDS HELP REFILLING!
We are back to collecting food for UCOM and they are in desperate need of breakfast foods and canned goods! You are more than welcome to donate almost any food item. Please place all food in the Outreach Barrel just inside the front entrance of the church for our Outreach Committee to pick up and deliver.
Thank you for helping to feed those who are hungry in our community!
