Announcements & News

Construction is in full swing! It’s vital for patrons to check the website and their email regularly for closures and updates. Yes, it’s noisy and we are all adjusting, but it is the library’s goals to keep the doors open more often than not and continue to serve the community! So, it may be dusty, it may be loud but remember these are all signs of progress that will allow us to offer more than ever!

Construction has made it necessary to move any programming normally held in the Quiet Study to the Community Room or Green Room – all parties who rent or teach in the Quiet Study have been notified – if you are attending an event previously held in the Quiet Study you can check with the front desk when you arrive for your event to learn what new location you are heading to!

Happy Anniversary, Friends!

Huge thanks to the local sponsors for making this all possible, especially to the Friends of the Sedona Library Book Store!

Building for the Future

I’m excited to share that construction has officially begun on the library’s new state-of-the-art meeting room—a major milestone in the library’s Take Part, Make Your Mark capital campaign. This work is helping ensure that library spaces are more accessible, comfortable, and welcoming for all.

These improvements reflect the library’s commitment to serving the evolving needs of the entire community—today and for generations to come.

This progress is only possible because of the extraordinary generosity of our community’s incredible donors. We are deeply grateful to everyone who has contributed, including an anonymous donor who’s remarkable $1,000,000 gift has had a transformative impact. This kind of support speaks to the deep connection the community has with the library.

Thanks to that generosity, we’ve reached 87% of our fundraising goal—an exciting milestone, with more still to accomplish.

My name is Robert Natiello and I’m the new Director of Development & Community Engagement. I’m thrilled to be part of this important moment. I’d love to connect with you—whether to talk about the campaign, other ways to support Community Library Sedona, or even to walk you through the renovation progress firsthand. I’m always happy to offer a tour of the construction site (hard hat included!).

You can reach me anytime at Rnatiello@communitylibrarysedona.org.

Together, we are building more than just spaces—we are strengthening a vital community resource!
