Dear Maria Community,
As the Covid Task Force continues to work on the procedures for returning to campus in the Fall semester, the question has come up of when testing for Covid will be required by the College.
In an effort to keep the Maria Community safe, Covid testing is going to be required before campus access is permitted in the following situations:
Covid Testing Requirements
Testing will be required of all students, faculty, and staff who:
- have *traveled from other than designated safe states within 14 days of arriving on campus and retested 7 to 14 days after arrival or upon development of symptoms,
- have signs or symptoms consistent with COVID-19, or
- are asymptomatic and have had recent known or suspected exposure to SARS-CoV-2.
Testing Results need to be reported to the Care Coordinator for Maria College's Covid Response. Individuals must have evidence of a negative test before campus access will be granted. The Care Coordinator can be reached at
COVIDCare@mariacollege.edu
or by phone at 518-764-4718.
Testing can be accessed through your health care provider, or by contacting the Maria Care Coordinator.
Testing done through the Maria Care Coordinator will be done for free.
