Funding Friday

On Fridays, we send out a message straight from Brenda to you. We invite you donate to this #peoplepowered campaign. Brenda has refused to accept corporate PAC money and chooses to remain beholden to only one group of people: the people of the 7th. Therefore, no contribution is too big or too small to make a difference.
Meet the Team (Pt. 3)!
Friends,
You'll sometimes hear me talk about how our movement is people powered. Every day, the people on Team Brenda are working hard on finally flipping the Georgia 7th. Whether it be knocking on doors in the community or working on important legislation at the Capitol, we are working to put people first. I invite you to scroll below and meet even more of the hard working members of our amazing team. And be sure to keep an eye out for more highlights of other current and past team members in our messages to you! Moreover, we want you to know that we couldn't do any of the work and advocacy that we've been doing without the support of folks like you. With that in mind, I encourage you to chip in what you can to our grassroots movement and I, again, thank you for your support!

Your Candidate for Congress,
Rep. Brenda Lopez Romero, Esq.
Brenda is at the Capitol fighting for you and your rights everyday. It's hard work, but Brenda understands how the legislation she's working on can impact Georgians like you. That being said, the campaign must go on and we need your help more than ever!  Make a contribution to our #peoplepowered movement today by clicking below:

Leslie Palomino is an alumna of Meadowcreek High School where she served as the President of Mock Trial; she is also a graduate of Maxwell High School of Technology in which she completed a Law Enforcement Program. During Leslie’s senior year of high school, she was an intern at The Salmon Firm LLC and Access to Law Foundation. Leslie is currently a second-year student pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science at Georgia State University. Leslie served as a legislative aide for Representative Brenda Lopez Romero for the 2019-2020 legislative session. She is currently working for Rep. Brenda Lopez Romero campaign for Georgia’s 7th Congressional District. Leslie was born in Georgia and raised by two Peruvian immigrants. Leslie’s parents were once undocumented immigrants. She was inspired by her parents to pursue her career in the legal field because the process for her parents to receive their permanent residency took about 12 years and she realized that her parents were not the only family undergoing the unjust backlog of pending immigration cases. Leslie hopes to become an immigration attorney one day. She continues to work in legislative and community advocacy work because she focuses on strengthening fair representation for the Latino community. She also strives to engage the young advocates who will represent the future.

Previously, Kyle interned on Josh McCall's 2018 congressional campaign in Georgia's 9th District. Throughout Georgia's 2019 legislative session, he worked as a Constituent Services fellow for Rep. Beth Moore (HD-95). Kyle is excited to be working for a candidate like Brenda-- a candidate with a deep understanding of policy issues and an inspiring drive to serve her community. In addition to the campaign, he also works as a Court Associate with the Fulton County Superior and Magistrate Courts. Kyle has been accepted to a number of master's programs in public policy and international affairs, but is taking time to figure out what it is that he wants to do as he looks to find ways to better himself and better serve his community.
