CHICAGO, IL, USA - The ISTAT Foundation's Mid-Year Reportprovides highlights of another successful year of giving, including:
50 students from 19 countries received a record breaking $424,245 USD in scholarships for the 2018-2019 academic year
An impactful humanitarian aid grant of $33,000 USD to The World Food Program USA (WFP) provided nutritious food for 2,000 children in South Sudan
$115,000 USD granted to 12 non-profit organizations that aid in the promotion of the aviation industry
The second ISTAT U 2.0 class, consisting of seven students from four countries graduated
Mr. and Mrs. C Jeffrey Knittel donated $100,000 USD to the ISTAT Foundation and another generous donation of $25,000 USD was made by Airbus Americas Inc.
The ISTAT Foundation launched its Inaugural Gala which took place 4 June 2018 in Chicago, IL, USA
$44,000 USD was raised at the First Annual South Florida Golf Tournament and $43,000 USD at the Second Annual Chicagoland Golf Tournament

The International Society of Transport Aircraft Trading Foundation (ISTAT Foundation) was founded in 1994 to support individuals and institutions that promote the advancement of commercial aviation and humanitarianism. Funding for programs is provided by annual grants from ISTAT and contributions from individuals and companies. The ISTAT Foundation Board of Trustees, a separate entity from the ISTAT Board of Directors, manages fund raising and programming that meets the Foundation's objectives.
