OVER 130 SAN DIEGO MOMS ENDORSE JUNE CUTTER FOR ASSEMBLY DISTRICT 76
Cutter Enters Race with Strong Grassroots Support
(San Diego, CA) – June Cutter announced today that her campaign for California State Assembly District 76 has been endorsed by over 130 San Diego County moms, demonstrating her strong support from the community. This solid showing of grassroots support comes only three days after June launched her campaign in the newly drawn Assembly District 76.

“San Diego moms are worried about the rising price of gas, food and other essentials, while we balance running our businesses and working our jobs alongside the needs of our families. We proudly stand behind June in her race for Assembly because she understands our daily lives and how Sacramento politicians have let us down when it comes to the economy, public safety, and the education of our children,” said Julia Pearson, one of the many “Moms for June” supporting Cutter’s campaign.

June is a small business owner, attorney, and native Southern Californian. She has owned multiple businesses and fought for countless individuals for nearly two decades as an attorney. June is active in the community, previously serving as the PTA President for her children’s elementary school, and now serving as President of the California Women’s Leadership Association.

Democrat Brian Maienschein will run as an incumbent in the newly drawn 76th Assembly district. Maienschein won reelection to the 77th Assembly district in 2020, but he has never represented approximately 65% of the voters in the newly drawn 76th Assembly district, which no longer includes Poway or Scripps Ranch.

June has already been endorsed by the majority of Assembly Republicans including Leader Marie Waldron. June’s campaign team includes Axiom Strategies, the consulting firm responsible for Glenn Youngkin’s recent victory in the Virginia Governor’s race; Illuminate Marketing and Golden State Strategies for fundraising; and Campaign Compliance Group as treasurer.

June graduated cum laude from U.C. Irvine in 1999 and went on to receive her Juris Doctorate and Master’s in Business Taxation from the University of Southern California, completing both graduate degrees at the age of 23. For over 12 years, June has lived in San Diego with her husband Ryan, a former Naval Flight Officer, and their two children.
