TCIA is proud to welcome three new staff members to help enhance our mission to advance tree care businesses. "As an association, we are currently expanding our efforts and determining new ways to better serve our members across the country," says TCIA President Mark Garvin. "We are thrilled to welcome these new faces to help achieve our short-term and long-term goals." TCIA's new staff members are:
Sarah Winslow (Director of Development)
As the director of development, Sarah is responsible for expanding existing event and sponsorship programs while helping to launch new fundraising initiatives. She will lead the association's overall development efforts, cultivate and strengthen relationships with current and potential donors, and coordinate with the meetings team on fundraising and awareness events for TCIA's Partners Advancing Commercial Tree Care (PACT) program, Voice for Trees Political Action Committee, and the TCIA Foundation.
As regional coordinators, Dawn and Peggy will facilitate increased participation in TCIA programs via regional workshops that address both owner and employee needs, (EHAP, CTSP, Chipper Safety and other Tree Care Academy training programs, PHC Implementation, Business Boot Camp, etc). They will organize member gatherings, attend regional meetings, conduct individual company outreach visits as well as strengthen the position and visibility of professional tree care with the public and in the green industry.
Sarah, Dawn and Peggy will all be attending TCI EXPO 2012 (November 8-10) in Baltimore, MD. Say hi to these new staffers at the world's largest tree care trade show and conference!
