Friday Photos

We are nearing the end of phase 1A of For Such a Time as This, the restorative redecoration project of the Basilica. We accomplished a great deal this week, and the major components, floor, furnishings, light and sound system are complete or substantially complete. This week’s photographs were taken Friday afternoon.

Next week we will be completing the work in the Marist Chapel, and the restorative finishing on the cabinetry that make up the confessional and the Baptistry, along with many, many smaller items and cleaning in preparation for the Thursday December 13^th. preview at 7 PM of the redecoration project, with a special musical program featuring the Archdiocesan choir led by Donal Noonan at 7:30. After the concert we will host a Gaudeamus reception downstairs. All are welcome.
