i55 Book Fair!

Our Book Fair has been a great success! Please visit the website (https://i55bookfairs.com/pages/wa022) or come and join us today and tomorrow afternoon from 3:00-4:30pm to find some awesome books. The online site will close on Monday, February 5th so if you missed any of the open times at school, you can still order books!

Kindergarten Coin Drive

Every penny (nickel, dime and quarter) counts! Let Charity Come First.

During the first 2 weeks of February, the Kindergarten students will

be sponsoring a coin drive. They will be asking all the St. Nicholas

Catholic school students to join them. The Kindergarten children

will collect the coins. The proceeds will be presented to the St.

Nicholas chapter of The Society of St. Vincent de Paul on Ash Wednesday.

In doing this service project we will be carrying on the tradition that

Tom Fandell, an elderly parishioner, nicknamed Poppy, started with the

Kindergarten class many years ago. Students can bring in change

on any or every day from Jan 29-Feb 8. There will be a container

in each classroom and in the school office to hold the quarters, dimes, nickels and pennies.

It's Candy Gram time!

ASB will be selling Candygrams outside of 2nd grade, February 5th - February 9th from 8:00-8:20. You can also find an order form here. Please return the order forms no later than Thursday, February 8th after school.

Sibling photos will take place throughout the day on Friday, February 16th. If you would like any other family group photos (a great gift for grandparents!), please email kjames@sncsgh.org so that I can schedule your students.

Family Procurement - If you have not turned in your procurement form, please do so ASAP. Your total donation needs to be $225. Physical items will need to be delivered on site in a few weeks so keep an eye out for that date if you have not already given the auction team your items.

Lunch and Recess Duty

The signup for lunch recess and lunch helpers is here! Please sign up to help with lunch and lunch recess so that our teachers and staff can eat and have a little break! This could be a weekly, monthly, or quarterly opportunity. We appreciate all of your help!

SCRIP UPDATE:

SCRIP is available Tuesday and Friday mornings from 8:15 - 9:00am in the Parish Hall.

Please see the new SCRIP form link at the bottom of the newsletter for future purchases. Puerta Vallarta is no longer a SCRIP vendor.

Students can wear their St. Nicholas school t-shirts and hoodies with their uniform bottoms.

Team Thursdays

Our next team Thursday will be February 15th.

Students may wear their favorite team jersey or top and uniform bottoms.
