2023-2024 Yearbooks will be available the last week of school.

Cost per yearbook is $20. Please bring cash or check to the front office no later than Tuesday, 5/28. If you forgot to turn in your order form, Mrs. Heins ordered extra so please let her know ASAP if you still want a yearbook. Extra slips can be found in the front office.

FROM THE PRINCIPAL

We had so much fun with our Principal of the Day, Adam B., yesterday. Although the weather didn't exactly cooperate, the school was full of Hawaiian fun! Besides introducing the firefighters to the preschoolers, he pushed them on the swings during recess. I think they'd prefer it if he stayed in the role.

Just a reminder from our neighbors, the speed limit on the side streets around our school is 25 mph. The speed limit on our school campus is 10 mph! Please be a good neighbor and observe the speed limit as you bring your students to and from school.

We have finally selected a contractor to convert our covered play area into a gym. Congratulations, Ridgepoint Construction! Because we will need to replace the asphalt (an expense we did not expect) the cost to build is higher than anticipated. However, we are working to close the gap and start the project for a September, 2024 completion date.

Please join us for all the end of the year events and help us bring our community together to celebrate our beautiful school community. We hope to see you at the Color Bubble Run, the Maritime parade, and field day.

St. Nicholas is joining the Maritime Parade again this year on June 1st!

Grab your strollers, wagons, and decorate your trikes! It's so fun to see all the school groups with kids smiling and dancing and we want to bring St. Nicholas school back into this parade! Volunteer hour totals and final SCRIP bills will go out after May 31st. Please keep an eye out for these bills and plan to pay by June 14th.

SCRIP BUYOUTS

The unpaid SCRIP bills will be distributed from the school office after the deadline of May 31st.

Joanne Fabric has declared bankruptcy and all stores remain open for now. When the present supply of Joanne gift cards are gone, we will not be ordering anymore. You can still purchase a special order and leave it at the SCRIP tables on Tuesday and Friday mornings.
