FROM THE PRINCIPAL

It is hard to believe that we are already in August and the teachers only have one more week of summer. (We will see everyone else in two weeks.) Where does the time go?

Although we have had some time to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather, we have also been busy getting ready for next year.

All our open positions have been filled, we have received our new curriculum, and our classroom and campus is getting all spruced up.

Please put the ice cream social on your calendar to drop off your supplies, get your schedule, and help us welcome our new teachers.

Enjoy the last couple week of summer. We cannot wait to see you.

Calling all Preschool, Pre-Kindergarten, and Kindergarten families!

Meet your teachers, enjoy a treat, and explore the upper playground. You will be able to drop off any bulk school supplies and your teachers will have a welcome packet for you.

PRESCHOOL, PRE-KINDERGARTEN, KINDERGARTEN

Please read the information regarding a "slow start" next school year for these classes.

All school families are encouraged to join us for the ice cream social on Friday, August 23rd from 1:00-3:00pm. Grab an ice cream, socialize with friends and meet new friends, drop off your bulk school supplies, say hello to your teachers, and so much more!

In addition to enjoying a yummy treat, here's why you should come:

• Pick up your welcome packet and raffle tickets.
• If you ordered school supply kits, they will be available to pick up. If you purchased your own school supplies, you can drop off bulk items at your new classroom and hang out with your teacher for a bit.
• Sign up for fall sports.
• See the volunteer opportunities and sign up to help around campus or in the classroom.
• Middle school students will be able to pick up their chromebooks and their schedules.

The ice cream social is a fun way for friends to get reacquainted after a summer away, an opportunity to meet new friends, and to share summer stories about all your adventures.

UNIFORM EXCHANGE CLOSET

The uniform exchange closet has been wonderfully organized and is available for you to grab one or two items if you need them. Please schedule with the front office before dropping by.

MEDICATIONS

If your child has a prescription medication that may need to be taken at school, please contact your child's pediatrician to have them complete the medication authorization form. The physician can use this form or provide their own. Any Over-the-Counter medications need parent authorization. Please use this same form (no doctor signature required) or see Mrs. Heins for a hard copy. Please bring the medication and form(s) to school on the first day if possible.
