I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for today’s Spring Sing. It was a wonderful day to celebrate our students and our vibrant community. The dedication and hard work of our students were truly evident, and we are grateful for the careful planning and guidance of our music teacher. The joy we shared today was a beautiful reminder of what we can achieve together.

As we celebrate, I also want to take a moment to ask for your support and prayers for Mrs. Wiebersch, who has recently been diagnosed with cancer and will be starting treatment soon. We invite you to participate in 100 Days of Prayer for her by signing up through this link. You can choose to fill any available day or double up on a day that works best for you. Your prayers and support will mean so much to her during this challenging time.

And lastly, we have a new pope, Pope Leo XIV.

Lord, source of eternal life and truth, give Pope Leo XIV a spirit of courage and right judgment, a spirit of knowledge and love. By governing with fidelity those entrusted to his care, may he, as successor to the Apostle Peter and Vicar of Christ, build your Church into a sacrament of unity, love and peace for all the world. Amen.

Very Important: The Color Run serves as our largest fundraiser for scholarship programs, allowing both students and families to join together. Invite your family and friends to run with you to support our school! Even if you can't make it to the run, we encourage you to register your student and have them engage in fundraising efforts. Providing scholarships is vital for many of our students!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We need you! Please sign up to help at the Color Run. It's a great way to get volunteers in before the end of the school year!

Spring MAP testing will be taking place in May. Teachers will let their students know which days the testing will take place so make sure they get plenty of rest, eat a good breakfast, and bring a positive attitude to testing days!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We need a couple volunteers to lead the way for our Maritime Gig Festival Parade entrance. The parade is on Saturday, June 7th and we would love to have some parents take the lead. Please email kjames@sncsgh.org if you can lead and organize the volunteers. If your family would like to march with us and showcase our amazing school community, sign up here.

Please complete the yearbook order form no later than May 16th.

It's that time of year again! Students in Grades 2nd-8th can order their school supply kits now until June 20th! Take away the hassle of back-to-school shopping and support our school as well by buying your kit now.

This year's cutoff is Friday, May 30, to purchase physical cards, but e-SCRIP will continue through Saturday, May 31.

If you want an estimate of your totals and/or Buy Out amount, contact Judy at rdmjudymc@hotmail.com before the cutoff date.

ALL purchases in June will apply towards next year's requirement. June's purchases will not count towards this year's requirement.

As a reminder, any SCRIP balances will be put on your FinalSite account after May 31st.

SPIRIT WEDNESDAYS AND TEAM THURSDAYS:

Spirit Wednesdays are every Wednesday unless noted otherwise.  Students can wear their St. Nicholas school t-shirts and hoodies with their uniform bottoms.

Team Thursdays! Team Thursdays moved to the second Thursday of the month. Our next Team Thursday will be May 15th. Students may wear their favorite team jersey or top and uniform bottoms.
