Dear Friends of Reynolda Gardens,

Gardeners know that December is the best time to make plans for spring and summer blooms! With that in mind, Reynolda Gardens partnered with Bookmarks earlier this month to host a conversation with author Sue Stuart-Smith. Smith, a prominent psychiatrist, and psychotherapist who currently teaches at The Tavistock Clinic in London spoke about her new book A Well-Gardened Mind. I’m pleased to share a recording of her presentation in the hopes that you will be inspired by Sue’s message that gardens are vital elements to our wellbeing.
In the meantime, the staff at Reynolda Gardens continue to plan for a spectacular 2021. We’ve received some 16,000 bulbs, donated by our friends at Brent & Becky's Bulbs, which are sure to make a splash along the main walkway in the upper gardens, as well as scattered about in other areas. Forrest is hard at work rejuvenating other areas in the lower formal gardens, while Hayden is potting up and planning for the Spring Plant Sale. Michelle, Colin, and Amy have spruced up the trails and continue work to improve the upper gardens. Your support as a Friend of Reynolda Gardens makes our work possible, and we thank you.

I wish you all a very Happy New Year, and look forward to seeing you in the Gardens very soon!
