Mobile Credentialing-Cell Phone Access Control Readers


Using your cell phone to enter parking areas or unlock doors sounds like a cool thing but what if you forget your cell phone? REALLY? When did that last happen? You’re more likely to forget your wallet or access card than your phone! However, does a cool thing equate to a smarter, cost effective alternative to traditional access card or lock and key? In a word….YES. Most major security industry manufacturers are in a race to produce the best non proprietary mobile readers that can work with existing badges (optional) and today's mobile devices. The demand is strong to implement mobile readers and avoid the loss of access cards or re keying.

Meet John Price


John Price is our Senior Field Systems Engineer. He has been with our company for 30 years, starting out as a field technician and eventually becoming our top guy in Parking Revenue Systems. John is married with two children and lives in South Jersey.

Jet Stream Parking

Jet Stream Parking is located in Essington, PA and just minutes from Philadelphia International Airport.   
i2 Security recently finished installation of the netPark cloud hosted parking revenue control system for the Jet Stream facility.

The main lot is configured to allow transient customers to pull a ticket and pay in the exit lane by credit card or via a booth cashier. Shuttle buses will enter and exit in remote lanes via an RFID system. All entry and exit devices will communicate in real time to netPark hosted software. netPark is a level one PC1-DSS credit card service provider utilizing point to point encrypting credit card readers to greatly reduce the possibility of a network breach. All compliant PCI upgrades are the responsibility of the software provider, thus eliminating the client's responsibility to remain compliant and reduce exposure to fraudulent activity. 






 Philadelphia Hand Centers treat injuries from the hand to the shoulder at their 17 locations in Eastern Pennsylvania and South Jersey.
I2 Security has installed Lenel OnGuard access control on exterior doors at the centers as well as video surveillance in select areas.
