Celebrating 16 Years of Service
Dear Marine families,

MarineParents.com, Inc., was founded nationally 16 years ago on January 21, 2003 to provide support, information, and services to Marines and their family members, and create opportunities for the public to support our troops through the organization's outreach programs. Throughout our 16 years of service, we have called on you, the MarineParents.com family, to help us continue our mission and today we need your support again.

Help us raise $10,000 by midnight January 31, 2019, to help us continue our mission in 2019.  Donate now.

God bless and Semper Fi!
Show Your Support for Gold Star Families

Thousands of luminaries have been lit on the last Sunday in September for over a decade. In 2007, the founder and staff at Marine Parents understood that although there has been a presidential proclamation since 1936 to honor Gold Star Mothers, there was no nationwide call for action to show support and remembrance of the sons and daughters of Gold Star Mothers. It was decided that we would ask folks to light luminaries in one of our newsletters that went out to 50,000 Marine Parents and family members. The response and feedback was tremendous.

Show your support and take the pledge. Complete our online form TODAY, then mark your calendar for the last Sunday in September every year to light a luminary for Gold Star families, beginning on September 29, 2019.

SOI Mailing Addresses

We do not recommend sending large packages that require a signature because the Marines won't have much free time to go sign for the package, but also because they have a limited space for storage.

Individual Ready Reserve

All Marines are required to go through the Individual Ready Reserve (IRR) after their initial active-service comes to an end, unless he or she chooses to reenlist. If a recruit enlists prior to the required age of enlistment, he or she would be placed in the Delayed Entry Program.

Permanent Duty Stations

When formal training (boot camp, School of Infantry, and military occupational schooling) is complete, each Marine is assigned to a Permanent Duty Station (PDS).

Travel Assistance Boot Camp Graduations

The mission of our Travel Assistance program is to support Marine Corps recruits by assisting one of his/her family members who shows significant financial need, to attend boot camp graduation events so the Marine is not alone.

Deployment

The emotional roller coaster of your Marine's deployment may be more than tough. The uncertainty of what is to come brings emotions and feelings that none of us thought would be part of our lives.
