Dear Reader,
Over the years people have asked me how it is our Co-Op has been so successful in growing companies and advancing careers?

I've told them "luck" and "mission."

The mission was to have our companies grow faster.

The good fortune (aka some luck) was being able to invent, create, discover, design, etc ways to do just that.

And it wasn't by magic, rather, it was the construction of a custom tailored development methodology to accelerate growth.

As an example, we were the first in the world to publish a newsletter and then design a website promoting the products and services of our member companies.

I've been asked to do this again for networking groups.

So when you're ready to grow a business faster or larger or develop a career or company more rapidly you can learn more at "Master Focus Group" via Zoom or Skype or in person over breakfast, lunch or dinner.

You can sign up now or meet me at Corner Bakery Cafe, 9311 Katy Freeway (I-10 W at Echo Lane), 7:30 to 8:30 AM any Wednesday for more information and to have your questions answered.

1861
Near Manassas, Virginia, American Civil War foes meet in their first major battle, and while both sides, each around 18,000 strong, are untried and their commands chaotic, a Union delay in positioning proves ultimately deadly as Confederate forces take the advantage.
1954
With a Viet Minh victory over French forces, the First Indochina War comes to a close, and an agreement is struck for cleaving the Southeast Asian nation into two zones at the 17th parallel. The partition will lead to further conflict and US involvement in Vietnam's civil war.
1983
Scientists at the Vostok Research Station, located at the 'Pole of Cold' on the East Antarctic Ice Sheet, log the coldest temperature ever recorded at an inhabited location when the mercury falls to -128.6 F below zero. Reports of hot toddies all around have not been confirmed.
1989
Lee's film about urban-neighborhood racial tensions hits theaters. It will become a commercial and critical success, receiving two Academy Award nominations, though not without some controversy around the subject matter and ending.

"Houston's greatest energy resource is entrepreneurial energy."
C. Dean Kring
"Recognized as an industry leader and pioneer in small business incubation" by the National Business Incubation Association and as "One of Houston's core entrepreneurial groups" by the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation and "Ranked the #1 new business development group in Houston" by Houston Proud!

We are a not-for-profit cooperative association of independent
business owners for market expansion, business development,
entrepreneurial education and professional growth.

We were created from a specific and priority research project of the Houston Chamber of Commerce in the late 1970's on the importance of start-up and emerging small businesses. We brought you Houston's first small business incubator, which became Texas' oldest, the first co-working space in Texas, the first Womens Business Center in the United States and the first Residency Incubator and first Virtual Accelerator Program in the World. Our clients have ranged from pre-start-ups to the largest companies in the United States! We clearly demonstrated that entrepreneurship could be taught, that business plans were not a requirement for a successful business, that women were starting businesses at a faster rate than men and that entrepreneurship was color-blind and gender neutral. Our start-ups have won virtually every award in Houston for business growth, some nationally, some even internationally and some of our established client companies are now household names in Houston. We operate entirely without grants, gifts, donations or public funding. We don't have our hand out and are NOT your tax dollars at work! We are totally self-sufficient!

We grow companies, build careers and advance ideas!
May we assist with yours?
