Supporting Our Food Banks

As food prices rise, Canada’s food banks also feel the pinch. The current inflation level has resulted in slightly lower donations for the Elliot Lake Emergency Food Bank while experiencing an additional 100 families in need each month.

News from the Farm

Highfield Farm


The team from Highfield Farm spent all of last week at the Calgary Central Public Library doing strategic planning for the farm. So lucky to have such a great space/resource in our city. Getting off-site was key and being able to access rent-free space with tech capabilities and whiteboards was AMAZING!

What's Cropping Up...

Apply Now for a 2023 Gro for Good Grant Online


The 2023 edition of the Scotts Canada Gro for Good program is now open for applications. The program provides grants to deserving communities, schools and non-profit organizations seeking to develop sustainable community gardens and green spaces.


Applications will be accepted until February 28, 2023, at 11:59 p.m. EST or until the first 200 submissions are received, whichever comes first. Gro for Good grants will be awarded as a combination of cash and in-kind product donation. Projects must be completed in 2023.
