February is here and it's a month full of reasons to celebrate. We are half way through winter with equal opportunity left to experience the outdoors or cozy up inside. Occasions to show our love and appreciate our friends and family are sprinkled throughout the calendar. Yes, these events will be different this year, but we can still celebrate by finding safe ways to connect, making the little moments memorable, and continuing to support our local community. It's all possible, right here in Orangeville.

|
|
Many families have been spending a lot of time together lately. If you’ve run out of ideas to keep everyone entertained, you're in luck. Grab your phone and get ready to explore downtown Orangeville in a new way.
We've created a digital scavenger hunt to help you discover some of the details that make downtown Orangeville unique. Your quest is to solve 16 clues about public art, local businesses, and historical elements located in the downtown area. The hunt begins near Town Hall and takes you along the north side of Broadway to just past First Street. Cross to the south side of Broadway and make your way back. All clues can be found in the order listed.
The route is all outdoors so dress for the weather. You will not need to enter any businesses to find any of the answers so it can be done safely at any time. The entire route travels along sidewalks the whole time, making it an easy stroll for all participants.
The digital scavenger hunt is available by downloading the free Goose Chase app. Simply get the app and then search for "Orangeville" or enter game code 1BXJBZ. After you register, get ready to answer the clues. If you prefer an offline experience, you can download the printable version of the hunt here.
Make sure to share any photos or videos of your fun with us on Facebook or Instagram. Happy hunting!
