WISCONSIN IS OPEN FOR BUSINESS!
|
|
The Chamber continues to do our part to follow recommendations to help slow the spread of COVID-19. As some of our community events have either been canceled, postponed or reduced, we are anticipating that all will preserve the memory of this time and continue to look forward.
As the voice of business in Forest County, your Forest County Chamber of Commerce is advocating for a return to economic activity and getting back to work, but doing so safety and following our Counties Health Dept. and Law Enforcement Leadership who must work within the State guidelines and the Badger Bounce Back Plan put into effect by Governor Evers. As we all face unprecedented challenges due to COVID-19, we need to stand together and show support for one another and our community. The Chamber is asking you to join in working together as we are “Better Together” and “In This Together”.
Our biggest event going forward is going to be re-opening our community for business and restoring customer confidence. If you are not planning your recovery, let’s start now. Let’s establish our Counties best practices that we will draw from our local business owners, our local public health and local law enforcement to begin establishing and implementing best practices in parallel with our County and State guidelines put in place that best meets the need of our community businesses. With our collaborative efforts, allow us to lead you through this. Each of us are vital to our community’s recovery and we need to work and rely on one another.
The Forest County Chamber exist to serve our business members, school districts, individual members, non-profit partners and the residents and visitors of our community. We are advocating for getting back to work but only SAFELY. Starting the second week in June I will be paving the sidewalks and stopping by our local area businesses. I look forward to seeing how our community businesses are doing and how the Chamber can be of further resources.
The Chamber if here for you and your business and/or organization for the future of Forest County’s Hospitality, Tourism, and Lodging.
As Always Stay Safe & Healthy and Be Kind to One another!

PANDEMIC RELIEF FOR SMALL BUSINESSES IN WISCONSIN
|
Small businesses in Wisconsin often operate on razor-thin profit margins and hold very little cash in reserve, which makes weathering the effects of a global pandemic particularly challenging. Complicating matters for these small businesses seeking federal or other financial assistance is that they often lack the financial relationships required, or are otherwise ineligible, to qualify for these programs. WEDC’s We’re All In Small Business Grant is designed to help these small businesses get back on their feet while also encouraging adoption of best practices to keep employees, customers and communities safe.
