Forest Home is quickly approaching and we are so excited to spend the week with you! Here is some important info that you'll need to know to get ready for our week at camp!
| | Departing on Wednesday, July 8 | | |
Please arrive at the church on Wednesday, July 8th, at 6 AM! We will get you checked in, make sure we have all your important documents, and even feed you breakfast! Please note that we will be meeting in the Northeast Campus parking lot (By the youth office). You will need money for lunch on the way to camp and on the way home!
| | Returning on Monday, July 13 | | We will be back between 6-7 PM on Monday, July 13th. We will call when we are close. Please be sure your parents (or other responsible citizens) are available to pick you up (leaders are ready to go home too… ’nuff said.) Pick-up will be at the Northeast Campus. You will need money for lunch on the way home, so be sure to budget while at camp! | | |

Here is a quick snapshot of some of the themed outfits you'll need for each camp!

We know this can feel like a lot of information, and possibly a lot of things to purchase, but we want you to know that we do everything we can to make sure students have the BEST time without camp becoming more of a financial burden than it already is.
We often provide bulk accessories that match our themes so that everyone can participate and no one feels left out. We love having themes each day because they add an extra level of silliness, fun, and connection to the camp experience.
You may also notice that some of our themes don’t line up exactly with Forest Home’s suggested themes. That’s intentional! We like to be a little different and bring our own unique St. Andrew’s spin to the party. It helps create a unified experience for our group and gives students a chance to be part of something memorable together.
Because really, how many times in life do you get to consciously dress in a goofy costume, fully unified with your friends?
Maximum silliness = maximum impact.
We hope your student is able to participate in the themes because they truly help us experience the joy, connection, and radical impact of God’s grace together.

- One Mud bowl outfit: Unified men in Black! Bring Closed toed shoes(Crocs don't count) you don't mind getting muddy!
- One country or country club outfit for Banquet night
- Some white colored clothes and glow sticks for a fun Glow Night!

Camp Weather/ Hydration
Our week at camp has highs of 85 and lows of 51. We will be doing a lot of activities, so hydration is ESSENTIAL! Make sure you bring a water bottle you can refill- All of Forest Home is on Well Water, so every spicket you find on the grounds is amazing drinking water, and hydration packets are highly recommended. Liquid IV, Drip Drop, or any type of powder electrolytes that help with hydration are very beneficial during our week at camp. We bring some for emergencies, but we can't supply everyone's everyday hydration needs.

Lakeview and Creekside Field Comp Outfits
This year, the theme of the field comp is Pink. We have been dressing as the pink team for some time now, we love this element of silly!!!!

Lakeview and Creekside Mud Bowl Outfits
This year the theme of Mud Bowl is men in black! If you want to go full-fledged, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, there are plenty of suits at Goodwill or any other thrift stores, and that could be pretty silly, otherwise we are suggesting a black outfit, and we might be painting some friends green.

For Pool Comp day, we will be dressing as mimes! We'll have a decorating day on Wednesday, July 1, at 4:00 pm, before our combined youth group night. Bring a white shirt to decorate with stripes

Lake Comp outfit - Picnic on the Lake!

Every year for our Lake Competition, we dress alike. This year, we’ll all be dressing like a picnic!
We wanted to keep the theme fun and accessible, especially since many people already have food themed costumes. An easy alternative to a giant hamburger or hot dog costume is to wear a colored shirt and add a logo that matches a picnic condiment or food item. Think ketchup, mustard, relish, lemonade, watermelon, and more.
There are also some quick grab and go options at places like Five Below and Walmart. If you choose the DIY route, we’ll be decorating shirts at our decorating day as well!!

Thursday Night Banquet Dinner
Country Vs. Country club!
Come dressed in your best country-inspired look with boots, denim, fringe, florals, and western flair, or go full country club chic or maybe inspired by yacht rock with polos, sundresses, pearls, pastels, tennis skirts, and preppy style. Whether you’re ready for the rodeo or headed to the clubhouse, this is your chance to have fun, dress up, and show off your banquet-night style!

Forest Home Online Medical Forms, St. Andrew's Medical forms, and St. Andrew's codes of conduct are due!
| Forest Home requires that online Medical forms be completed prior to us arriving at camp and they need to be completed ASAP, so please complete it as soon as you receive this! Please be sure that when you log in to your account. You see that the Health Form has been completed and has a completion date, just like in the picture below! | St. Andrew's also requires you to fill out a medical form and a student code of contact to keep on file with the Director. Please fill those out with your student and make sure they are understood. | | |
If you have not paid your final balance, please do so this week! If you have questions about what your final balance is, please feel free to contact Tim. You can pay your balance online using the link below or by check.
