Dear NCFA Members,
 
The North Carolina Forestry Association would like to share a recent press release from North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper. This Executive Order from Governor Cooper includes more restrictions for North Carolinians due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak. Some key points from Executive Order No. 120 include:

Decrease gatherings from 100 to 50

Mandatory closing of entertainment facilities: this includes gyms, bingo parlors, movie theaters, bowling alleys, swimming pools.

Mandatory closing personal services businesses: barbershops, hair and nail salons, massage parlors, spas.

Further tightening restrictions on visitations to long-term care facilities. 

Schools remain closed through May 15 at least.

The measures defined in Governor Cooper's Executive Order will take effect Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.
