Phase I - Clerk E-Certify Service for Court Division
Fort Bend County Clerk Laura Richard has announced the Phase One launch of a new, modernized e-certification system to improve security, accessibility, and convenience for certified court documents.
- Walk-in customers can now obtain secure, tamper-evident digital certified copies at the counter
- Provides greater access for residents, attorneys, and businesses, especially those outside the county
- Supports 24/7 availability and reduces the need for in-person visits
The new system strengthens fraud protection while streamlining the process, reflecting the County Clerk’s continued efforts to modernize services and enhance the customer experience.

Fort Bend County Clerk Laura Richard hosted the second annual Vows on Valentine's Day event on Saturday, February 14 where Judge J. Christian Becerra and Judge Dean Hrbacek married 21 lucky couples.
A huge THANK YOU to both Judge Becerra and Judge Hrbacek for donating their time during Valentine's Day and to our amazing local businesses who donated items to make the event special for our couples. Terra Flora loaned beautiful plants, Nothing Bundt Cakes of Richmond donated sweet treats for our couples, and Bob's Taco Station and Another Time Soda Fountain & Cafe donated BOGO meal coupons for the newlyweds to celebrate with a yummy meal.
