Democratic Candidates for Governor & Lieutenant Governor Forum

The Hartford Votes/Hartford Vota Coalition will host a Candidate Forum featuring the Democratic Candidates for Governor and Lieutenant Governor next Wednesday at HPL.

All candidates have confirmed their attendance: Ned Lamont and Joe Ganim (Governor) and Susan Bysiewicz and Eva Bermudez Zimmerman (Lt. Governor).

There will be a brief reception from 5-5:30 pm with light refreshments; the forum will start at 5:30 pm. Emmy Award Winning Journalist Diane Smith will serve as moderator.

Join Hartford Stage and Hartford Public Library for a special afternoon program with piano virtuoso and storyteller Mona Golabek. Mona will perform pieces from The Pianist of Willesden Lane and share excerpts from her bestselling book, The Children of Willesden Lane.

A reception with light refreshments for Hartford Public Library’s art exhibition, “Freedom Dreams” immediately follows program.
