The complete CMP and Development Code were presented to the Board as new business at its regular meeting on Wednesday, March 21. The Board will vote to adopt the CMP and Development Code at its regular meeting on Wednesday, April 18.

The Board's adoption will signify that:
  1. The CMP and Development (Zoning) Code satisfactorily meet the stated deliverables and lay out a viable plan for meeting Hot Springs Village's stated Enterprise Goals.
  2. The language in both documents is being adopted with the understanding that revisions to other governing and operational documents, including the Declaration, Protective Covenants, Bylaws, Policies, Committee Charters, staff procedures, etc. will also be forthcoming and required to ensure maximum return on the plan's investment and ultimately strengthening and protecting property owner value.
  3. The language in both documents is being adopted with the understanding that certain components, such as Declaration changes, require a property owner vote which will guide the timeline and final implementation of those related components.
  4. The language in both documents is being adopted with the understanding that the annual budgeting process and CEO's current spending authority level will guide individual project implementation.
The Ad Hoc CMP Steering Committee met on Tuesday, March 20. Click here to view the minutes from this meeting.
