Write your feelings at that moment in a journal for 5 minutes
- Sit quietly away from distractions for 10 minutes
- Take a brisk 20-minute walk and spend time in nature
- Practice deep breathing for one minute
- Drink a cup of lavender or mint tea, smell the aromatherapy
- Visit the beauty of Holy Spirit Retreat Center
- Pray in our chapel or sit by the pond
- Spend time with a pet
- Detach for a day from social media, television, and phones
- Spend quality time with loved ones
- Listen to soft, instrumental music during your day
- Be mindful of what stirs you - what is it? Write it down
