Thanks to you, we’ve expanded opportunities for education, fostered collaboration, and celebrated the power of community in so many ways. Each initiative and program reminds me that community is what we make it—together.

Creating Spaces that Connect Community | In September, we officially celebrated the Ribbon Cutting and Open House for our new Yadkinville office location—and our hearts were full of community support! At the same time, we’ve been reimagining our Clemmons office to create a more welcoming, collaborative space for donors, partners, and community members. These updates reflect our commitment to connecting philanthropy and neighbors across Yadkin County, Lewisville, and Clemmons. | | | | |
Over $250,000 was awarded in grants to local nonprofits fueling programs that strengthen our service area.
Through four grant processes, the Foundation supported nonprofit organizations committed to focus areas such as health/wellness, education, the arts, and community enrichment.

Bingham Arts Grants launched
In August, the Foundation launched a new grant opportunity designed to bring vibrant arts and cultural experiences to Clemmons. Funded by the Thad and Mary Bingham Fund of the Shallow Ford Foundation, these grants build on the success of the Bingham Arts Series, which for two years showcased music and art events in the community.

Inaugural Lewisville-Clemmons Education Grants Awarded
In September, the Shallow Ford Foundation launched the Lewisville-Clemmons Education Fund and awarded $11,500 to five local schools. These grants provided financial support to Lewisville-Clemmons educators and students impacted by staffing reductions and budget adjustments.

Five Adult Scholarships Awarded
The Shallow Ford Foundation was proud to support adult students this past fall season in their educational journeys through five scholarship awards.

The Foundation announced the recipients of its 2025 fall mini-grant opportunity, continuing its mission to support creativity and innovation in Yadkin County Schools.
This grant cycle was designed to support educators in creating dynamic learning experiences that promote both cross-curricular integration and STEM engagement.

Mobilizing $8,700 in Support for Local Food Pantries
When the government shutdown created unexpected hardship for local families, one donor’s action sparked a wave of generosity.
Thanks to the Foundation and its network of donors, more than $8,700 was quickly mobilized to support food pantries serving neighbors in need.
