Where has 2024 gone?!!  The fall fundraising appeal just wrapped up, and the end of the year is rapidly approaching.  It is heartwarming to report the generous amount donated by our members during the time frame between National Philanthropy Day and Giving Tuesday.  Thanks to the $1,000 matching gift from one anonymous donor, the amount donated during this campaign is $$$.  Thank you…thank you…thank you for Bee-ing the Future of Education!!  Rest assured your generous donation will be used to help fund several grants, fellowships, scholarships and individual/classroom/community projects.  With much appreciation for your generosity, the total amount donated from July 1, 2024 thru December 3, 2024, now stands at $8,137.02.

As another year comes to a close, it is a tradition for us to reach out to family and friends to show our gratitude and share our gifts with the causes in which we believe.  The Board of Directors and Donor Relations Committee join together to thank you and express our sincere appreciation for your generous donations to the Foundation.  We as educators support funding the future of excellence in education evidenced by the generosity that has been shown in support of Bee the Future of Education-2024 Campaign.  No matter the size of the gift or the designee, you can be certain the funds will support projects designed to enhance the future of education in Ohio. 

Thank you all for the gifts received and for those that will come in the future.  Together we are making a difference for the students in our schools! We are wishing you peace and joy during the holiday season and a healthy, happy new year.  

ADSOEF Needs You!



The holiday season is upon us which means it is time to get serious about becoming a director for ADSOEF.   First of all, a big THANK YOU to all those who have served as a director, committee member, volunteer or given their financial support!   As a director you will have multiple opportunities to contribute to the continued success of ADSOEF.   The application and the description of the director’s position are on the ADSOEF web site. If you have questions, the present directors and the Nominating Committee will be more than happy to answer your questions.  Applications (electronic only) are due by February 1, 2025.     February will be here sooner than we think, so start filling out your application and/or encouraging a member of your chapter to apply.

The election will take place at the ADSOEF Annual Meeting on April 10, 2025, via Zoom. This will be the first election under the new Bylaws.  We will be electing three (3) directors for a two-year term starting in July 2025 and ending July 2027, and two (2) directors for a three-year term starting in July 2025 and ending July 2028.    We are looking forward to receiving your application!
