A Round of Applause to the OSO Scholarship Committee!
Marilyn Slusser, OSO Scholarship Chairman and ADSOEF Scholarship Liaison, along with the OSO Scholarship Committee received over 23 applications for the Esther H. Strickland and Jane Brundige Stein Student Teaching Grants. The committee members spent most of February and the first part of March individually reading submissions and scoring each application using an evaluation rubric. At a Zoom meeting on March 5, the committee meet to rank the applicants and to determine the student teaching grant awards.
The Directors would like to take this moment to extend and knowledge our heartfelt gratitude to Marilyn Slusser, Chairman, Delta Kappa; Nicole Burley, Delta Kappa; Sue Loader, Alpha Psi; and Judy McClanahan, Gamma Nu, for their extraordinary efforts and special attention to details in this rather involved grant and scholarship selection process. Here is a round of applause for each of you with our sincere thanks for a job especially well done!
