for the Future!
As spring approaches, it is truly uplifting to see the efforts of our members blossoming into classroom project grants, student teaching grants, fellowships, and scholarships. The DKG/OSO/ADSOEF members across Ohio continue to support and work toward excellence in education at all levels and in many schools and communities. The generous donations that have been received make it obvious that our members greatly value education. As of February 29, 2024, $12,306.99, has been donated to the various ADSOEF funds. Your generous donations and support are sincerely appreciated and will be used to fund the future of education in Ohio.
Another opportunity awaits all DKG/OSO members on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Grove City from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The ADSOEF Annual Meeting will be held in the morning before the OSO Executive Board Meeting and featured speaker, Kerry Black. The Birthday Luncheon on that day will be a time to celebrate the 86th anniversary of the founding of Ohio State Organization and to meet a few of the university students receiving student teaching grants. Donor envelopes will be placed on the luncheon tables to allow members the opportunity to continue their support of the many programs funded by ADSOEF. Mark your calendars and save the date!!
Anytime of the year is the perfect time to make a donation to honor or remember a special person by giving to one of the many ADSOEF funds in his or her name. Donations may be made online by visiting the ADSOEF website or by downloading the contribution form at the end of this article. Remember…Work for others is the leaven, that inspires our band!
