May marks 55 years since Terry and Rosie Reilly first welcomed patients into a makeshift clinic set up in their living room. A lot has happened since 1971, and we now serve nearly 45,000 patients in southwest Idaho. That’s something to celebrate!
Our theme for the year is “Generations of Care – a Future of Hope,” to honor our history and celebrate our progress as we prepare for a future filled with health, possibility, and hope.
Celebrations will be sprinkled throughout the year, starting with a reception held for Terry Reilly “alumni” – former employees and board members who saw us through our formative years. In August, we’ll celebrate with employees and the community for Community Health Center Month. Then, in September, we’ll bring together major contributors and donors for a fundraising garden party.
Stay tuned for the unveiling of our 55-year commemorative edition poster.

Donations to launch the next 55 years! - Thank you! PacificSource,
St. Luke's, Saint Alphonsus, & the Ada County Medical Society
| | | |
PacificSource generously donated $50,000 to directly support Terry Reilly patients through several critical programs: our Behavioral Health Crisis Intervention Program, on‑site medical care at Interfaith Sanctuary, the Bob LeBow Patient Assistance Fund, and two programs that help patients manage chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart disease: our Medication Assistance Program and our Clinical Pharmacy and Patient Home Monitoring services.
Dan Stevens, executive vice president of Provider and Regional Partnerships at PacificSource, shares, “As Terry Reilly marks 55 years of service, we’re honored to support programs that strengthen access to care and improve health outcomes for individuals and families across the region.”

St. Luke's granted a total of $25,000 in support of the Bob LeBow Patient Assistance Fund to ensure care for vulnerable populations: patients who are uninsured and facing financial crisis. This donation was given with a specific emphasis on providing prenatal care, serving refugees, people experiencing homelessness, and others.

Saint Alphonsus's $10,000 grant in honor of 55 years of service will support the Terry Reilly Foundation in Behavioral Health. This gift will bring access to behavioral health services to those in our valley who need mental healthcare but face significant barriers.

Our partners at the Ada County Medical Society donated $1,500 to the Greatest Need Fund in support of our medical care provided at the Interfaith Sanctuary.
| | Creating Access to Care for Parma | | |
More exciting news in our anniversary year – Terry Reilly will be expanding with a new clinic in Parma. This small town lost its only primary clinic in 2023, and we’ve been serving the community since then in temporary locations and with our medical units. The plan for a permanent clinic got rolling when the city offered a location for the build. We are in full fundraising mode so that a new clinic can be completed by fall. That means dependable care will be close to home for our rural neighbors, strengthening the health, stability and future for our farm and ranch families in this rural area.

One of the most memorable incidents of my junior high school years was of being saved.
Not in a religious way; I was saved from what most likely would have been humiliation at best, a beating at worst. It happened one afternoon while I was walking home from school. I was partway down an alley used as a shortcut when three bullies came after me for no obvious reason. They were complete strangers.
They backed me up against a fence, said some things that can’t be printed in a general circulation newspaper, and were threatening to rearrange my face when a boy walking home from my school intervened.

| | Celebrating 55 Years: Alumni Gathering & Rural Clinic Tour | | |
TRHS celebrated its 55th anniversary on May 12–13 by welcoming back alumni whose dedication helped shape the organization. Former and current team members, long‑serving employees, and board members gathered in Nampa to reconnect, share memories, and reflect on TRHS’s growth.
CEO Heidi Hart honored the organization’s past and future, and a nostalgic slideshow sparked laughter and heartfelt conversations. As one alumna said, “Terry would have been proud!”
Guests also toured rural clinics, including Nampa 1st Street, Marsing, and Homedale, with a drive‑by of the Caldwell Cleveland Clinic. Along the way, they saw how TRHS has expanded medical, dental, behavioral health, pharmacy, and specialty services across local communities.
Above all, the celebration highlighted that the heart of TRHS has always been its people. For 55 years, employees, patients, leaders, and partners have come together through compassion, collaboration, and a shared commitment to caring for our neighbors.
Thank you to everyone who continues to be part of the TRHS story.
