The healing power of kindness is present in every gift.
It is our privilege to pass it on.
Hello,

In this month’s eNews we invite you to join us in welcoming our new team members, Jenna and Jared. We look forward to them contributing to the impactful work we are privileged to be a part of. We also honor our partners in Sexual Assault Services during this month of awareness. And, we remember a former Bronson employee with a beautiful mural in our Children’s Hospital.

We are grateful to be a part of so many wonderful moments.

Sincerely,

Liz Semaan

Bronson Health Foundation Welcomes Two New Team Members
Jenna Ellis
Jared Coleman
Bronson Health Foundation is thrilled to welcome two new major gifts officers, Jenna Ellis and Jared Coleman! In their role, they will connect the generosity of our communities through the building transformative relationships.

Jenna comes to Bronson Health Foundation with seven years of non-profit development experience, specifically in healthcare-based fundraising. Most recently, she served as the development manager at Oaklawn Hospital.

Jared has been a Bronson employee for 4 years, beginning as an intern in the Supply Chain department. Prior to joining the Bronson Health Foundation team, he served as the contract specialist for the surgical department.

Terry Morrow, president of Bronson Health Foundation shares, "Jenna and Jared both bring great energy and an exceptional skill set to our team. I look forward to them getting to know our generous community members and the great philanthropic impact that grows from those relationships." Please help us welcome Jenna and Jared!
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month
Sexual Assault Awareness Month is a specifically designated time to speak out, educate our community and work together to end sexual violence. Sexual Assault Services (SAS) serves survivors and their loved ones within Calhoun, Kalamazoo and Van Buren counties. Join us to support survivors, let them know they are not alone and help is available.

All assistance and services offered by SAS are free of charge. This is made possible through the support of grants, financial donations, community partners and volunteers. A gift to the Sexual Assault Services Fund is an impactful way to acknowledge this awareness month and support those in need of these services.
Honoring Kenny Powell's Legacy
Kenny Powell was a member of the Bronson Healthcare team for more than 40 years. He is remembered for his accomplishments and his connection throughout the Bronson community.

Several projects have been funded by the donor-advised fund that was established in his memory. Those projects include a pediatric family lounge redesign, veteran artwork, and now a floor-to-ceiling mural in our pediatric sedation suite by local artist Susan Teague.

This art is designed to help calm and distract our young patients by creating a soothing atmosphere.
