Sales are rolling in full force as catalogs hit mailboxes and online listings fill up across the country. Our marketing team has been fielding a steady stream of calls, and we expect that pace to continue as bull and production sales ramp up in the coming weeks.
If you spot one of our names listed in a sale catalog, don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re always glad to discuss sale cattle, answer questions and help you make the most of your investment long after the gavel falls.
Personally, I’ll kick off my sale season later this month in Meriden, Wyoming, for the Ludvigson Stock Farms All-American Bull Sale. From there, I’ll join the Frank family in Chappell, Nebraska, then head to Kansas for the Overmillers’ sale before working my way north to Niobrara Red Angus.
It’s a full schedule, but one that’s deeply rewarding. Even with long road miles and little sleep, being able to support producers through genetics and marketing efforts makes every mile worth it.
In addition to preparing for bull sales, I’ve had a growing number of inquiries from producers looking to source replacements and cows across the country.
It’s a powerful reminder of the lasting impact of the Red Angus female. Whether in seedstock or commercial herds, the Red Angus cow continues to set the standard, delivering both maternal excellence and functional phenotype, all while pushing the envelope for growth.
I often hear from new contacts who want to refresh their herds with Red Angus genetics, or who are seeking top-notch recips to raise the next generation of seedstock. That speaks volumes about the integrity and momentum of this breed. We’re laying foundations – and those foundations are shaping the future.
Let us know how we can be of service this spring. We’ll see you out on the road.
