Dear Friends,

It is with deep sorrow and joy that we share that founding JAM Board Member Lee "Mzee" Mulder has passed on to the presence of his Savior.

Lee sponsored many children, traveled to Uganda more than 20 times, served on the board for over 15 years, and even after he "retired" continued to write for our newsletters and support ministry projects. Lee worked tirelessly in the service of our Lord on behalf of the children of Juna Amagara.

To know Lee was to know his passion for Juna Amagara. He had an infectious enthusiasm for the ministry and a gift with words that he generously shared. He told stories of changed lives beautifully and loved to highlight the transformations he witnessed through his work with JAM.

Lee will be greatly missed, but we take comfort in knowing that he is in the arms of his savior. We ask that you lift up Clara and his children in prayer as they grieve.

We invite you to read the words he wrote upon his retirement from Juna Amagara's board, which recount his service and reflect his love for God and the children of Uganda: Lee's Comments
