COVID-19 Update

In response to rising COVID-19 cases and hospitalization trends throughout the U.S., the OC Health Care Agency (HCA) strongly advises Orange County residents and visitors to take preventative measures to reduce their risk of spreading or getting sick from COVID-19, including testing, wearing well-fitted masks and getting vaccinated.
Summerfest is June 16-19, 2022!
Kick off your summer fun by celebrating at Fountain Valley's 4-day Summerfest at the Fountain Valley Sports Park. Bring the whole family! With carnival rides and games, fabulous live entertainment on both the Main Stage and Community Stage, great food and Beer & Wine Garden, there is no better place to be! The fee to enter is $5. Parking is FREE.
I-405 Improvement Project Update
The I-405 Improvement Project continues construction on the Brookhurst southbound Bridge. Traffic was switched onto the new northbound bridge in February 2022 in order to begin demolition and reconstruction of the southbound portion of the Brookhurst Bridge. 
Strategic Planning Session on June 9
The City of Fountain Valley is committed to continuing to be successful in our service delivery to our residents, businesses, and visitors. The City Council and management staff will hold a strategic planning session to review the progress toward the previous set of six-month objectives.
Senior Expo on June 30
Senior Expo is a Health and Wellness resource fair to be held at the Center at Founders Village Senior & Community Center (17967 Bushard St). The year's event will be on Thursday, June 30 from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Admission is FREE!

The City of Fountain Valley was incorporated on June 13, 1957, as the 21st city in the County of Orange. Since its incorporation, Fountain Valley has established itself both locally and nationally as a forward-looking community dedicated to improving the quality of life for its citizens.
Advisory Committee for Persons with Disabilities Upcoming Events
Pull out your best clothes and your fancy dancing shoes... The City of Fountain Valley Advisory Committee for Persons with Disabilities is hosting a "Prom Night" themed dance! This in-person event will be held on Friday, June 10 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Innovating Commerce Serving Communities (ICSC) Recap
Our Fountain Valley team wrapped up a very successful ICSC two-day show of deal-making and networking. Our team got to meet with several different retailers, property managers, and developers, and there are some exciting things in the works!
Public Safety
Public safety is a priority for our community. Fountain Valley Fire and Police Departments monitor Emergency calls routinely.
