HIGHLIGHT: FVSD Volunteer Screening Day on December 4th
Volunteers

Effective January 1, 2020, volunteers at our school sites will be categorized as Level One or Level Two volunteers.  Level One volunteers work with a certificated staff member and perform less than five hours of volunteer service per week.  Level Two volunteers perform more than five hours of volunteer service per week, chaperone field trips.  All volunteers are required to sign in through Raptor at the school and provide proof that s/he is free from tuberculosis.  In addition, Level Two volunteers are required to receive LiveScan fingerprint clearance through the Department of Justice (DOJ).

In order to support our volunteers with the changes to the requirements for Level Two volunteers, we will be providing an opportunity to obtain LiveScan fingerprinting and DOJ clearance at our Volunteer Screening Day on December 4th from 9AM-1PM at the District Office (10055 Slater Avenue in Fountain Valley).

On this day only, the District will cover the cost of DOJ clearance.  Volunteers will be responsible for covering the cost of LiveScan fingerprinting, $20.

If you plan to volunteer more than five hours per week, or to chaperone any field trips during your student's time in FVSD, please join us on Volunteer Screening Day on December 4 between 9AM and 1PM.  For more information, a copy of the letter sent home is available here.   Register for December 4 here.
TAG IT:  Join Us in Celebrating The FVSD Way!
The FVSD Way
