Enrichment Academy
It is with great excitement that we continue to share information regarding Fountain Valley Schools Foundation's Summer Enrichment Academy.  The Enrichment Academy is a great way for families to extend learning opportunities for their student(s) during the summer months.  And, there are a variety of options available, including: Jump Start Classes for grades K-4, and numerous STEAM Classes (Lego Engineering, Code Academy, Young Einsteins, STEAM Studio, and more)!  To learn more and to register, click here
Peachjar eFlyers

Last year, FVSD began utilizing an electronic flyer distribution system, Peachjar, in an effort to improve communication, ensure a strong link between home and school, and to enhance community support and involvement in our schools. Every school, the District Office, and outside organizations uses Peachjar to distribute district-approved e-flyers to families district wide .  We are excited about the addition of Peachjar and look forward to this means of communication! District staff, parents, Trustees, community leaders, and even students have worked together with LPA Architects, Inc. to create a detailed Facilities Master Plan (FMP).  The District's newly developed FMP identifies a vision for the next 10 to 15 years and provides a road map to coordinate short and long-range goals for our school buildings.

HIGHLIGHT: Groundbreakings at Courreges and Masuda as Measure O Facilities Improvement Project Continues
Groundbreakings 2018 Courreges and Masuda

On May 30th, the FVSD Family came together for groundbreaking ceremonies at both Masuda Middle School and Courreges Elementary School.  We were honored to have so many of our partners join us for this momentous occasion, including: our PTA/O leads and numerous parents and staff; Fountain Valley Mayor Michael Vo, Members of the Fountain Valley City Council, City Manager, Rob Houston, and Fire Marshall, Michelle Rudaitis; Judy Edwards and Joy Moyers from our Schools Foundation; and, Mark O'Brien from Yakult. In addition, Representatives from Senator Janet Nguyen's office were also in attendance and presented a certificate to each school.  Moreover, it was great to introduce our Measure O Teams from Rachlin Architects and West Coast Air.
We are fortunate to be a part of a community that embraces our students, staff and schools.  This exciting next step in our facilities improvement journey would not be possible without their support of Measure O!   For more photos from the events, click here
