It is my sincere pleasure to bring to you the Superintendent's Update from the Fountain Valley School District. As we work to increase communication, we want to engage our various stakeholders in ways that are meaningful, easy to use/read and timely. With the various changes and reform efforts in education today, it is critical that we keep our community engaged and well informed of these changes and how they impact our students. We hope you enjoy the regular updates and information that we will be sharing every two to three weeks.
Some of the features that I believe you will enjoy most include access to important issues in education like: Common Core; Smarter Balanced Assessments; changes in curriculum and instruction; research articles; and, tips for keeping all of these changes straight.
