Pandemic Recession Future Trends
Implications for rural community development
Albert Einstein is quoted as saying, "In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity." This month we explore four themes or trends that appear to be coming out of the COVID-19 pandemic and recession. Our paper, The 2020 Pandemic Recession - Future Trends, provides an overview of what we believe will be transformative changes and ultimately opportunities, particularly for rural communities who take the time to understand the trends and position themselves to take action. We pledge to monitor these trends and identify, track, document, analyze and share new trends through this newsletter as part of our our Pandemic Recession Restart - Recovery - Resiliency series.
