This wine is another chapter in Hiddencroft's ongoing experiment to explore how extended oak aging impacts a wine's flavor, aroma, texture, and overall quality. It spent 7 1/2 years in neutral oak barrels. We are not disappointed! Our Chambourcin Reserve shows notes of blackberry, blueberry, and chocolate. The mouth feel is smooth and silky. White pepper flavor on the finish. We are excited for this opportunity to create distinct wines from the same vintage, offering a unique and varied experience to wine enthusiasts. |
